2017 Art and Photo Contest


We invite you to submit your best 2 dimensional artwork (photos, paintings, watercolors, etc.) capturing the beauty of Lake Robinson and the surrounding area to vie for a chance to receive:

$100 For First Place
$50 For Second Place
$25 For Third Place

The contest is open to the general public regardless of age.  Your artwork is to be of Lake Robinson or its environs and must be submitted by September 11, 2017. (limit two entries per artist).  We have started accepting entries, so now is the time to start preparing your work.

Your artwork will be displayed at the Pavilion at the J. Verne Smith Park on October 8, 2017, during the Lake Robinson Day of Celebration, and then it will be on display at the Greer City Hall building for a period of about one month.

This years juror is Sandra Roback, an accomplished artist in several areas including basket-making, painting, and photography. Sandra teaches classes at OLLI@Furman in Visual Language and Composition. Sandra is a juried member of the SC Artisans Center.
