Friends of Lake Robinson is proud to announce the creation of an annual college scholarship in the amount of $1,000 open to a graduating senior student at Greer Middle College Charter High School, Blue Ridge High School or Greer High School. The scholarship focus is on a student with a commitment to pursue educational opportunities that would help create sustainable communities in the future. The awardee(s) will be determined based on academic performance, written responses of the applicant, and recommendations indicating focus and desire for future achievement. Applications may be obtained in the counselor’s office in the named schools and must be submitted no later than March 1, 2019. The scholarship will be awarded and presented at a ceremony to be held at Greer City Hall on May 7, 2019.
