Sustaining Way and its demonstration site, Annie’s House, were born as part of a life-long journey. Sustaining Way’s ultimate mission is to use education, collaboration and advocacy to create sustainable, caring and equitable communities for current and future generations. In order to practice this mission, we use our demonstration site, Annie’s House, located in Nicholtown, a rich and historical community. Through Annie’s House, we are able to model sustainable practices, provide a center for education, while housing passionate coordinators who create intentional community connections and lead our organizations’ impactful programs.
